Can't log in after reinstall

Reinstalled my OS and slsk, and now it won't accept my password even after I reset it on the site. Confused. Help? Thanks.

site password and client password are not the same, also this place is not a support area.

there does not appear to be a "support area" and i see others asking questions concerning login issues here. why doesn't the client offer a way to find or reset password? perhaps you could help instead of being internet. it's tiresome.
