Bind traffic so specific interface

Like many torrent clients, it would be great to be able to bind the traffic to a specific Ethernet card. Many people like me would be able to upload through a VPN and still browse with the plain internet connection. I know there are workarounds with the help of apps or tweaks but a straight option in the preferences would be neat for the noobs alike. Thanks for reading.
