Add UPNP support for Airport Extreme
Submitted by mbenzy on Sat, 07/21/2012 - 20:41
Description:
Every time I start soulseekqt, it will never open the ports with my router (airport extreme newest model md031ll/a) and yes, the upnp box is checked. I am forced to use a torrent client to open ports which sometimes works and sometimes not. Its driving me crazy trying to figure this one out.
This is the error message I get
[Sat Jul 21 23:44:18 2012] Initializing UPnP
[Sat Jul 21 23:44:18 2012] No device list found during discovery. miniupnp error code: 0
[Sat Jul 21 23:44:18 2012] Found own address to be 10.0.1.2

Are you asking for NAT-PMP
Are you asking for NAT-PMP support? Last I heard Airport routers don't support UPnP.
i just bought my airport
i just bought my airport extreme. i was so excited to finally have a quality router. soulseek is a program i use daily so imagine my shock and disappointment to know that i can't really use soulseek now. hopefully some day the developers will be able to make this work somehow. if there is a way around this, perhaps by using a remote host of some sort, let me know.
There is a way - manual port
There is a way - manual port forwarding.
