QT hanging on OSX Mavericks

Hello,

I am having problems with SoulseekQt build 2013.5.18, build 2013.10.5 and build 2013.11.6 for Mac on OSX Mavericks.

QT hangs shortly after launching. Occasionally it crashes, but mostly just hangs.

I have tried reducing my music files from 150000 to 3000, but no joy. I have uninstalled and reinstalled QT to no effect.

I think the problem started happening after upgrading from Mac OS10.9 to Mavericks.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes I have the same problem on Mavericks too. I notice it if I'm in a chatroom. Someone will type a message and the whole chat screen will just fill up with that one message. Other than that it works find for me.

I'm not getting any of the issues you guys are having but I have noticed is that after the latest update the app is always getting CPU spikes and it ends up blasting my fans and eating my battery if I'm not connected to my power source. It's pretty annoying..

danknugs have you checked your Activity Monitor to see how much memory QT is using? I've been running mine for about 4 days now and it's only using 34.9mb of memory.
