slsk-qt client for android
hello all, i'd like to see just how much interest we can generate for the development and implementation of a soulseek client for use in the android os. the developer of slsk has stated that he is currently busy with qt development. maybe we can urge him or another developer to start work on this project as it would certainly have a large user base and help to further the network. the popularity of the android platform needs not be mentioned. i suggest that we possibly initiate a poll of sorts to spark the much needed interest in this highly anticipated project and convince any interested developer including Nir to at least look into making this project a priority. so what's say? who and how many on these forums would be interested in using slsk on android devices? so let's hear from you if you have interest in using this amazing p2p on your android device and developers please do listen to and consider making this project a priority. thanks.

i hope slsk on my android for can share app with my new friends
This exists already - GoSeek
This should probably be brought up in the old forum because it's a third party client, but thought I would at least let you know, there is a Slsk app in the Google Playstore called GoSeek. It is still a beta version but there has been several significant updates since it was released. It has mixed reviews but it has worked really well for me, and it will probably get better over time. It isn't free but is probably the most useful app I have on my android phone so I think it's worth it.
GoSeek beta.....
yeah, its definitely more than functional. GoSeek is a really good unofficial slsk client. I laid down my 2 smackers ($2.00 USD) since it was 1st available in the Google Play store and haven't looked back. works great for me. I do a few searches at night when I can't sleep. the UI could def use some work but a fairly solid client for a beta version.
