Placing my music file onto QT to share is not working

Hello....
I have used the old SS for yrs.. Now I can no longer connect. I changed to QT. I do the 'options' - Go to the Options->File Sharing tab and click 'Share Folder' in the top bar.

When I click on 'save' at the bottom of the page. nothing happens. How do I get my files on to share..
Also, how on earth to a find and answer to this question on this site. I have not used a forum before..
