It means the user you are trying to download from has a per-user limit of the number of files they can have queued at one time.
E.g. If they only let a person downloading from them queue 20 files at once, then when you try to queue the 21st file, you get "too many files" message for that file.

Yes? Well, then the user must have successfully hacked their data file! Since I'm currently getting "too many files" error with an 8-track album, for every file except for the first one. Nothing else queued from this user but this album whatsoever.
But as far as I know, the minimum is 10. Unless someone uses a hex editor and edits the value per hand...(for whatever reason)

Thanks for replying... There is no such an option available in my Soulseek client (157 NS 13e). Is it because of the older soulseek version or am I just blind? :-)

How to set a demanded max. number of files then?
Hey guys,
where is the option to set a maximum number of files so other users who download from me don't queue like 100 files at once, please?
Thanks...
