Minor glitch in application colors
Hey there, since the color selection is working again (thanks Nir), I could do some more tweaks in my color settings - and found a glitch.
I'm using Darklooks theme, and so I'm using a black-ish color set for SlskQt, too.
Please BEAR WITH ME, because the issue is freaking hard to describe.
- Launch SlskQt, w/making sure you don't use a too-dark color layout (so not the one as I do, in order to see things). It's best to use really ugly, weird colors to see what's happening (BACK UP your preferred colors by backing up your config file, though, since there is currently no way to store colors separately (hint, hint ;))
- Go to "Options" tab, select "UI", and change to another tab, e. g. "Browse".
- Now go back to Options, having "UI" preselected.
- See what I'm on about?
Tab text is in same color EXCEPT for first tab.
(which you couldn't control because SlskQt will always DEFAULT to first tab at first run)
So you might guess what will happen on MY setup:
Full house, first tab will be 100% BLACK. However, not until I've SELECTED this first tab.
It doesn't matter, whether it'S currently selected or not; it just matters THAT it has been selected once before.
Now switch to "Login" (which IS first tab), and back to "UI".
Uhh!
"Login" tab will now appear in a third color (one we hadn't before).
I've even found out why this happens.
Tab text color (or tab highlight overlay color or whatchamacallit) is (maybe erroneously ??) set to BUTTON TEXT color.
Again: When I'm on "UI", and change BUTTON TEXT in color settings, the inactive tab "Login" will be displayed in BUTTON TEXT color. Even though "Button Text" is not meant for this purpose.
I'll be damned if you're not 10 times as confused than before reading my post, but excuse me, it's very very hard to explain since the colors seem interconnected in a rather complex kinda fashion.

You're right, the handling of
You're right, the handling of tab header text color is completely screwed. I believe this is now fixed in the code and the fix will be part of the next build.
Thanks! Nir
"Screwed". Well that's how
"Screwed". Well that's how you've just put it. :-)
(Since I remember from you that you do not appreciate this uncalled-for tone at all with users---I think it's for a good reason since you do all this for free---I thought I had better refrain from using such harsh expressions ;))
But yeah, well, let's say it is currently a bit hard to get used to. :-)
And thanks a lot for fixing it in the next build; from my side, I promise to try convincing my eyes again to bear a real ugly color set in order to give the "repaired" color assignments a thorough check-thru :)
