can't instal soulseek

Hi,
I had some issues with the newly downloaded soulseekQt so I decieded to uninstall it and reinstall it...but now can't even instal the latest version, here what it says when I click on instal
"Error opening file for writing;
C;\Program Files (x86)\SoulseekQt\SoulseekQt.exe"
anyone can help? never had any problems with soulseek older version was off the internet for quite a while and since I've downloaded the Qt version which visually seems better to me than the older one I haven't been able to make it work properly and now won't even download...
help appreciated...can't wait to start sharing and browsing ...

What version of Windows are
What version of Windows are you running? 8? If it's 8, I had a ton of permissions problems on a fresh install, so it could be that. Maybe try running Soulseek as admin, just to see if that works? Let's narrow it down a bit.
Do you have sufficient user privileges to install into c:\program files 86? Make sure you are installing and running Soulseek from an administrator account.
Let us know if that works or if you get an error.
Administrator worked for me
First time installing QT into Windows 8 & got a "Visual C++ Runtime Library" error message. It said "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way". If I uninstalled QT & reinstalled it using administrator permission, it installed correctly. Posting this to help others with the same error message. Love Soulseek QT!
