Forums:
I was invited by a friend to use this application. I downloaded it and it was immediately flagged and killed by my Norton antivirus, WS.Reputation.1. What this means is that the app is extremely unsafe and poses a very high threat to your computer. BEWARE.

WS.Reputation.1 just means
WS.Reputation.1 just means the application isn't very well known. Avast does the same thing which really bugs me because it makes it very hard for new, smaller programs from independent developers to break through and creates the sense that only bigger programs from well-known companies are safe.
Damn I've been on SoulSeek
Damn I've been on SoulSeek for 10 years and had less problems back on my PC days (when I still had to use the AVs) than I've had with apps from well-known, confirmed, approved/major devs. Sod Norton & Avast for false flagging, what a lot of BS. SoulSeek is safe, safer than torrents I'd say even. Don't be fooled by malicious alerts, everyone.
i've stopped using the big
i've stopped using the big anti virus programs years ago as they flag everything not approved by themselves as malware or viruses or whatnot. instead i've come to using Microsoft Security Essentials. best AV program to date.
It's "anti virus, anti annoying and anti cost", official MS antivirus.

pair it with the integratd windows firewall, search and destroy and common sense and you're home free.
