Application won't open/ Disk image not recognized

Hey folks,

I downloaded Soulseek QT but I keep receiving an error message citing the reason that the "image not found" I also have the update 2013-05-18, but when I click on that, it won;t open and says the image is "not recognized.

I am using OS X 10.6.8

Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Are you sure you're downloading the Mac version? The extension should be .dmg rather than .exe or .tgz
