Hey guys,
Is it me or does forwarding ports do absolutely NOTHING?
Today trying to install and configure Soulseek it became apparent its completely impossible to open a port.
I have set up EXACTLY any tutorial, a service named soulseek with the proper port and protocol, nothing.
My LAN setup is like below, and I had port forwarding for both: modem and router,
internet===> [_MODEM_]===> [_WI-FI_ROUTER_]====> [[PC]]
Not sure at all whats going on here, does anyone else have this problem or could shed some light?
Thanks!!

So Soulseek uses UPNP only? I
So Soulseek works off UPNP only? I thought UPNP couldn't handle all the connections required for P2P software?
P.s. I tried doing this also but it never seemed to do anything.
how to do port forwarding

It's never been easier. You can use almost any port but the higher the better, know your IP, remember the obfuscated port is +1.
