will all the QT versions work if there is new server

hi will all the old soulseek qt versions such as 5.18 work if in the future if soulseek decide to put soulseek on a new server ,i like 5-18 version is stable i dont like scarlet it crashes a lot my pc froze ! the menu is funny when i select a user it sometimes goes to chat tab !if soulseek decide to changed server will the old soulseek QT work,is soulseek QT version 5-18 future proof will still work ?
