Qt and PeerBlock

I have experienced this several times. The program will basically lock up and the screen will become white. I will still be connected to the network. Chat notifications will still appear, but none of the transfers will work. It seems like PeerBlock gets flooded with IPs (usually from Infinitum or WINSTAR) and Qt will then freeze. Has this happened to anybody else?

I have used SoulseekQt with PeerBlock before without any freezings, maybe it's unique to your situation? Are you adamant about using PeerBlock? I can't say I've had much desire to use it for Soulseek, but maybe other applications. Even then, it's more of a placebo from my own research.
Good luck!

I don't really use PeerBlock for Qt. I only use it to block select IPs. It's more for when using torrents. I guess I won't be able to use both at the same time. I never had the same issue with NS.

I doubt it's specifically due to the Qt framework that's causing IP address concerns for you. As with any P2P or "sharing" program, you can expect a ton of TCP activity in and out, so I wouldn't worry too much. NS and Qt both should behave the same when they reach out to other users, I would assume.
