Searches not showing up?

When I search for things on Soulseek, more often than not searches come up with absolutely nothing. Is there any reason in particular why this is happening? It wasn't doing this for me before, only started recently. Thanks!

Could be:

*ports closed
*firewall or peerblock
*bad search term (there's a few)

In order of likelihood.

same thing happens for me from time to time. I will either 1)wait for it to crash and restart 2)restart computer & slsk, usually then it works.
