SoulseekQT poor search results on Mac

Please help, I have been using Soulseek on PC for years and love it. I recently switched to using Mac and I have found that the search results are poor compared to the PC version. Is there any explanation for his and how do I get better results?

I find I sometimes search for artist and album name and get no results and then search for the album without the artists name and get results??

I have that feeling too. Or it's just that less and less people share music.

When I look for certain artist some albums don't show up. When is search just for the album name it shows them.
