OS X tray/dock icon animations

Hi All,

I remember that, in the past, the OS X version used to flash certain animations in the dock icon, upon someone messaging me or me successfully browsing someone. It doesn't seem to be the case with the latest version, however - regardless of what I do, the dock icon seems to be completely static and no animations ever happen. Unless I'm doing it wrong entirely and something needs to be turned on somewhere?

Newer versions of OSX will only show high resolution icons in the dock. The older smaller icons that have the notification graphics in them will no longer display there, but they should still appear in the system tray.
