Soulseek breaks internet connection

Hi Everyone,

As of 2 hours ago, Soulseek breaks my internet connection, causing me to have to reboot my modem. I suspect it's talktalk somehow, but not sure. Never had this issue. I found a similar thread from a few years ago about portforwarding, which I followed and forwarded a port on my router using a static IP for my computer as suggested, but no good - as soon as I download a file, internet crashes and modem goes crazy forcing me to restart it.

Sucks.

Any ideas or suggestions? I don't want to have to go to torrents every time I want to check out a song or share a file with someone, not even sure if that's possible now.

ps I'm on Win7 using SoulseekNS, though QT has same effect.

same here with QT, though NS works well.
