stop search?

is there a way to stop a search once it has began?

it is quite frustrating to find the files you want and then have them disappear in the search list as new files are discovered.

perhaps i just need to adjust the list priority somehow to rank them in order of search appearance?

if there is no feature like this, i would suggest to the developers that they develop one soon.
