After a blackout

I have lost my slsk session (user list, wishlists, downloads queue...) and now I am astonished to see that my ports seem now closed, yet I can still download files from other people (not sure yet about uploads). I have been staring for more than a hour already at port forwarding guides - the slsk checker checks the port at my external IP, while it seems the problem is that my port forwarding rules apply to the internal IP (and trying to apply external IP gives me error). Anyway, it bugs me that, knowing little about these things, I have no idea how to get around this problem.
And is there really no way to get back that session?
