Soulseek doesn't start

Hi. I had an older version of SoulseekQt on my mac (OS X 10.9.3) which was working fine but then suddenly it stopped: the program opens but there's a spinning wheel and it just wouldn't start up. I restarted Soulseek, my mac, deleted the older version (forgot which one it was) downloaded a new version of Soulseek (SoulseekQt-2015-3-25.dmg) but it's still the same thing. I was wondering if you had any idea what might be wrong? Thank you.
