UX Weirdness: Empty Wishlist windows

So when I leave SS open for awhile, wishlist result windows will propogate in my wishlist section but they will be empty with nothing available for download.

My theory is that because i have a minbitrate filter set up as my default filter, there are actually search results being discovered, but they are being filtered out.

I would think that the expected behavior would be to not create a window in this case, because an actual file matching the wish is not being discovered, but I guess that would require changing the logic to

1) check for file string
2) run through default filter

for each, which might be expensive?
