Shared Ebook Folder

I am sharing a folder of epubs and pdfs. Only a portion are showing as shared. Some are in subfolders and other are Rar'd. Does the shared folder option not read subfolders or Rar'd titles?
Thanks for any info i want to share my entire folder.

per default the Linux + Windows client do read subfolders if it has the rights and not excluded it in your file configuration. Every time you put new files/folders into it you have to rescan the shares, else it will not be detected.

I will check the properties of the folder...i have not excluded any files except the default *.ini.

If you name me two files (one that is shared one that should but isn't) I'd search for it and see?!
