Rescan shares

I think I have a great idea. Is it possible to stop the rescan at a certain time. e.g I have 20 folders with music (a lot of files) and I have only changed the content of folder 1. It would be great to be able to stop the rescan after folder 1 has been scanned, so I don't have to wait for all the unchanged folders.

Yea i think this could use some update...
i.e. running it in the background, so the rest of the program doesnt freeze, bcus it does take a while with rescanning big shares
