Disable changing tabs with mousewheel

Changing tabs with mousewheel has problems when using multi-touch devices like the Apple Magic Mouse or Microsoft Touch Mouse (or any of the similar designs). It is too sensitive and causes tabs to change when the fingers are at rest on the mouse (even with a very slow pointer-speed). It would be nice if this were either optional, or just disabled entirely (because I don't really see changing tabs via mousewheel as a particularly intuitive interaction)
