OK, this is a thing that's been baffling me since the early Win Soulseek days (which, for me, was like, 7 years ago or so).
I've been seeing folders with names of users and some files inside them. I can see this option is now back, in SoulSeekQT, but… What exactly is it?
Does that mean, that some people can send me files at their own leisure, i.e. if they find something interesting, without my prior approval…?
Would be nice to have it explained. Maybe Nir, if he has spare few minutes :)
Thanks

You have it exactly right.
You have it exactly right. User-inititated uploads, or more succinctly file sending, allows you to send files to other users and receive uploads from them that you didn't initiate. Unlike the old client, files accepted that way aren't put in folders named after the user, but follow the same placement structure of any other download. Another feature existing in the old client but not replicated in SoulseekQt is that of automatic upload returning, which randomly uploads files and folders from your own shares to users you've downloaded from. I've decided to hold off on that one for now.
Oh right. That actually makes
Oh right. That actually makes sense and I can see some good use to it. Many thanks for taking the time to explain - really highly appreciated.
