Files with international characters (e.g., french accents on e) do not download in latest build

I realized that while the older Qt build (Windows) used a generic ? in a square character for special characters, it did not affect the download. In the latest build (7/2/2012), files with any such character in the file name are just skipped in my download queue.

Yeah, I'm seeing that. That's a very serious problem, I pulled the auto update notification for the build until I can figure this out. This is something to do with the transition to Unicode strings in the latest build. Apparently the conversion process irreversibly eats-up some extended ASCII characters. I'll have to find out a way to undo this hopefully without going all the way back to using non-Unicode strings for everything.
