lost user groups/lists after power failure
After storms & a power failure on 7/4/12, I booted my system (Ubuntu 12.04, 32bit) and started slsk (SoulseekQt-7-2-2012). The client started ok, but said it couldn't find the configuration files. It advised me to reconfigure, so I did. Went to my chat.log files to try to add users as best as I could & rebuilt groups, designated which folders to share, etc.
4 days later we had another brownout. Same message on startup. I realize that any new users I would add after starting the program would be lost on an unexpected termination, but what about configurations saved prior to the latest start? That would really help me in case this happens again--in fact, while I have gone back on after the latest power failure, I have not rebuilt users/groups in hopes of finding a saved soulseek config file.
No luck for me. Could be that I am not expert in ubuntu/linux, but willing to learn. Could be that the file I am looking for doesn't exist. In any case, I would greatly appreciate advice.

Hmm, you shouldn't just lose
Hmm, you shouldn't just lose your configuration file every time there's a blackout. The client saves its data every five minutes. Do you still have your client data if you manually close the client and then restart it? On Linux the configuration file is saved in your home folder as .Soulseek (hidden file).
