QT completely unusable

Hello there
I just found out the new version of slsk, I was using NS until last week...
Well probably gonna keep it, since QT won't work here
Pretty much every feature on QT doesn't work properly, but let's number my problems...
1. It doesn't log in, I'm 100% sure the log in and password are correct, but it doesn't log in, checking ports points it to be closed, but, every port I try,I still get this error, I even "re-opened" it twice, used the same port NS uses but to no avail, NS still logs and everything works fine..
2. Any attempt to browse any kind of files on my computer, freezes the program, and I need to close it through task manager...

I've read some posts, looks like QT is unstable on 64bits W7, which is exactly my rig, after that I tried to use some compatibility, again to the same results, but found no solution to this matter...

I really want to use QT, but things need to work for me, so, where do I start fixing?

I can't reproduce the login problem. I'm assuming it does work when you try logging in under a different username though? How many files are you sharing? Can you try an earlier version of SoulseekQt and see if the situation's any different?

Never tried on different logins, never used earlier versions, gonna test it now...
About file sharing, I can't set up any thing, as the moment I try to browse my files trough QT, the program freezes, and the only way to get out of that is through task manager, by killing the process...
