Hey,

Every download I try eventually gets aborted or remains on extremly low speed.

I'm using the latest version - 28/09/12.

I recently replaced my router.

I confirmed that the port is open in the router's port forwarding.

please help,

I know some Israeli ISPs mess with Soulseek, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. Under Options->Diagnostics->Logs you should get a message along the lines of "Error downloading [file] from [user]...". This should give us the exact local reason the download was aborted. If it's just a general disconnect from the user, it could be very hard to say exactly why this is happening.

I was using Hotbox as a modem+ D-Link DIR615 as a wireless router and now I'm only using the Hotbox as a wireless router + modem.

Sorry, I wasn't specific enough. It's under Diagnostics->Logs->Trasnsfer Queue. Messages starting with "Error downloading [file] from [user]..." should appear there when a download fails.

Glad to hear! There were a number of infrastructure bugs fixed in the latest release, so maybe one of these fixes inadvertently took care of the problem you were having.

Well, I know a lot of Israeli ISPs either block Soulseek or mess with Soulseek peer connections. The only thing I can see from the log is that a peer connection to a particular user fails in both directions... Sorry I can't offer any more help.
