Can't find files I download

Everything I download seems completely lost as if I never downloaded it at all. This was never a problem when I had an HP but now I have a Dell Windows 7 and I can't seem to open the files into any of my media players. I'm stupid when it comes to computers so any help here would be appreciated.

Yeah, this is the SoulseekQt forum. It sounds like a permissions issue though, try changing your download folder to something simple like C:\folder.
