Aborting and restarting download

Hi all, back after a 12 month absence, wow its moved on.

Managed to download the latest 12.2.12 client and all was well for the first hour or so.

Restarted SS and now a number of downloads are constantly aborting and restarting. File doesnt actually start, just keeps ticking over.

any idea whats wrong?

Also, is there anything I'd need to set up for using latest client?

You should get various error messages under Diagnostics->Logs->Transfer Queue. If you're not seeing the Diagnostics tab, check Options->General->Show diagnostics. If you see anything interesting there, post it here.

Or at least similar. Dled 5 of 13 tracks, no problem. On every remaining track, I managed to receive 99.5% of the track before the download was aborted. All the remaining tracks have either 1 or 2s left of dl time. Weird. Log:

The latter may have something to do with SoulseekQt not updating file sizes when they change, as sometimes happens to mp3s for various reasons. We've observed this to sometimes create a situation where uploads can't successfully complete. A patch for this will be released by the end of the week.

i can continue as its not affecting me d/loading / uploading.

Got bigger fish to fry. HDD not being recognized, so looks like my 1tb drive of music is lost or needs recovering. gutted. defo wrong time of the year to happen :(
