isp throttling!

hi my isp throttle my speed at 3pm till 12am
soulseek works pretty well at theses time , will there be more improvements to make my downloads faster normal speed when being throttle ,i do find
that connecting to a different user sometimes helps my speed work ok ! i keep hopeing in future versions of QT speed will be fast in throttle times ,
but just assume versions that come out in qt are just bug fixes thats all lately , any way i think soulseek is the best file sharing program ever !!
i tryed dc++clients but in throttle time im getting dial up 56k speed !LOL!!!!

I don't believe this is a SoulseekQt problem. But you can try to get around throttling with a few of its built in features. Good luck!

It depends. You may be out of luck if your ISP sucks bad enough. But you can try adjusting the port mapping options in the OPTIONS tab in SoulseekQt.

It's possible that SoulseekQt's protocol obfuscation gets around your ISP's throttling. It only works if you connect to another SoulseekQt user, and roughly 60% of the users on the system are still on NS.
