I used SoulSeek NS and I export my data folder to other pcs to get "my" SoulSeek. Has the new SoulSeek the same option?
Thank you.

No. The Qt client stores user
No. The Qt client stores user data in DAT files so it's easier to backup and restore or move data to a new machine. Much better than NS imo. It stores user list, settings, etc. all in one nice neat file.
where are the DAT files? I
where are the DAT files? I don't see them in C:\Program Files\SoulseekQt
C:\Users\YOUUSERNAME\AppData
C:\Users\YOUUSERNAME\AppData\Local\SoulseekQt
thank you :D
in Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\SoulseekQt
thank you :D
(PD: a portable version of Soulseek could be wonderful)
Different folder
My settings (soulseek-client.dat) are not stored in C:\Documents and Settings\Local Settings\Application Data\SoulseekQt, but in C:\Documents and Settings\Local Settings\Application Data.
Is that a potential problem?
can you show a picture ?
can you show a picture of that ?
Migrating lists and Saved Searches from XP to Windows 7
Running Qt 2013.11.6. Just moved from a PC running XP, to one running Windows 7. Upload & downloading restored, along with desired settings. Even retained my chat logs. However, even though I moved three .DAT files from Documents & Settings/(My name)/Local Settings/AppData/SoulseekQt on the old machine, to Users/(My Name)/AppData/Local/SoulseekQt, the program doesn't recognize/use any of my user lists, or wish list searches. How can I restore those?
