Hello,

I'm new to Soulseek and really enjoy this program, however when I leave it running overnight it always crashes sometime while I'm away doing other things. This isn't life threatening nor is it game changing but it is rather annoying. Especially when I have some of the stuff I really wanted downloaded never gets done because the program ceases to operate. Any hints, tips, or whatever will be greatly appreciated.

sorry should have stated that. I'm using the updated version of Windows 7 64 bit

I've recently been working on cleaning up the file transfer code in an attempt to resolve some crashes that have frequently been reported on the Mac (the codebase for SoulseekQt is the same on Mac and Windows.) Honestly I can never get SoulseekQt to crash for me on either one, but I wonder if these changes will have any effect on the stability of the client on your end:

If it fixes the crashes, please let me know. If not, we can try setting up a debugging environment on your computer over ScreenHero or TeamViewer if you're up for it.
