Hi everybody! i can't execute soulseek.exe even when I lock Norton ;is there anyone who could help me?

Sounds like the very same problem with AVG on Win8 (see http://www.soulseekqt.net/news/node/1 - a bit hard to find as it was strangely mentioned on the "Downloads" page instead of getting added to the FAQ where it actually belongs).
Anyways, Nir has already pointed out that unless AVG is entirely uninstalled, slsk cannot properly work. Might as well affect many more kinds of virus scanning software around there on the market...(Sophos ??)
