Help! Can't open Soulseek via Mac OS X Mavericks

I downloaded the newest version of Soulseek and it fails to open and gives me this reading:

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x00007fff5f3fff98

Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

I've been using build 2013.11.6 on Mavericks with no problem. Which version are you using?

downloaded the newest version of Soulseek and it fails to quit program (CMD+Q) unless i go to activity monitor and shut down.

You should be able to quit from the tray icon. You can also uncheck Options->UI->Minimize tray on close if you don't like that behavior.
