Organizing music into folders?

Forums:
When I browse my files, there are music folders, but all of them are empty for some reason. All that's in there is album art. The music itself is all an unorganized mess in the very first folder simply labeled "itunes music" with no order or anything. It's just a giant mess. Is there some way I can sort all these 12,000~ tracks into folders without sitting there and doing it manually (which would be total lunacy)?

No, to be honest.
No, to be honest.
However, you can use an ID3 tagging tool to collect files together and divide them by artist and then by album etc.
This is fairly much how I've done it over time, as housekeeping the contents is an ongoing process.
I have about 36,000 tracks across about 1300 artists/4500 albums etc. It takes time but using something like Foobar and Tag&Rename you can filter and sort and control. I'm still finding errors after several years, and most stuff I download needs either tidying or changing to follow my filing formats.
