Number of files of users

hi, i have just installed QT and i'm exploring it.
i have some question about it

1) i don't understand the difference between qt and ns. i see there are more flexibility using filters (ok bitrate but flac format is missing) for example, but is the core "more robust" or else?

2) how can i see the numebr of files of users in my list? i can see it only for users that are in any rooms. do i make any mistake?

1) The best way to gauge the differences between SoulseekQt and Soulseek NS is to read the announcements on the main page. You shouldn't have to look for reasons to use SoulseekQt though. If you're happy with Soulseek NS, you should keep using Soulseek NS.

2) My inclination was not to include the number of files shared in the user list. In my personal experience this is information that tends to change very little, and doesn't really reveal that much to begin with. It's not that I don't want to make it easier to facilitate sharing between friends, but rather that I think there are much better ways of doing this. One in particular that I'm interested in developing soon is a distribution list mechanism that lets you upload files and folders to entire groups of users on your list. Still, you can always submit a feature request using the add content link on the sidebar, and users will be able to vote on it and discuss it.
