New version crashes on start for me. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Soulseek began crashing as soon as I started it, so I decided to check for a newer version. I downloaded and installed the newest version and I'm having the same problem. Also my account says that I have only been a user for 1 month and 3 weeks while I have been a member for years. Thanks for your help.

What operating system are you using?

Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit

have you tried a different windows profile as your config settings might be corrupt. Within a new profile there are others created and a new game begins. Put your forwarded ports into the config, choose any username/PW you like (or if you paid for it use the userdata U know) and If that works better we could clean the old settings and use the same process to start anew.

Well if I go to a new profile then I won't have access to all of the programs and documents that I have on this one.

you could export + import it in case. The meaning is: without it's not tellable where the crashes come from and on which cause. So testing it with an empty profile helps to differ.

The forum user and the SLSKqt User has nothing in common so where do you get the info about the 1m+3w?
