SoulseekQT Mac won't launch?

A couple days ago, I ran cleanup software on my mac to free up memory. Ever since, when I've tried to open the client, i immediately get a pinwheel of death and the program freezes/doesn't launch. It also uses >1GB of RAM immediately. I uninstalled and reinstalled the newest build several times, with no success.
Any advice?

Try to open the program with right-click instead of left-click first time you install...
