Runtime Error

Everytime I try to open Soulseek I gt a Runtime Error message that says;
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information. Please help!!!!

I also have that problem on build 2013.5.18 .. Really hate it :( Hope there's a solution for it :)

If it happens when you start the client there's a good chance it's fixed in the latest build.

I recently started to have the same error. Tried switching to the latest slsk build, reinstalling the Microsoft Visual C++ library and nothing works. I don't know what to do.

im also getting that runtime error message when i try to start soul seek..

after downoading the software and using it for a week i found that every time i try to use soul seek that crazy runtime error message appears..i have tried everything to get rid of it..but nothing seems to help..is there any idea as to how i can fix this problem?

I'm getting the same error. Anyone found a solution yet? Windows 8.1, SoulseekQT 24-6-15, error when opening program.

Visual C++ errores I noticed are caused by corrupted .dat settings files.

Delete all the new .dat files and leave the oldest one. Mine opened right up after wracking my brain for 2 days.

I get these errors after the program has been running for a long time. Is there any diagnostics to generate an error log?

Really annoying when I leave it running overnight and wake up to find it terminated and all my wishlist search results tabs disappeared.

I don't know if this falls under the same category but "microsoft visual c++ runtime library errors" keep happening to me now. This after upgrading to the new 2015-6-12 version. Won't stop no matter what I do.
