Everytime I try to open Soulseek I gt a Runtime Error message that says;
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information. Please help!!!!

after downoading the software and using it for a week i found that every time i try to use soul seek that crazy runtime error message appears..i have tried everything to get rid of it..but nothing seems to help..is there any idea as to how i can fix this problem?

I'm getting the same error. Anyone found a solution yet? Windows 8.1, SoulseekQT 24-6-15, error when opening program.

Visual C++ errores I noticed are caused by corrupted .dat settings files.
.dat files corrupt
Delete all the new .dat files and leave the oldest one. Mine opened right up after wracking my brain for 2 days.

I don't know if this falls under the same category but "microsoft visual c++ runtime library errors" keep happening to me now. This after upgrading to the new 2015-6-12 version. Won't stop no matter what I do.
